Last Friday on Jordy's show, Miles stated that he would assist Michigan with their new coaching search. That's all this is - chill out.

Sorry but it's not half as much fun as assuming the worse.

Please - uou act like Miles has to prepare for 5 continuous weeks - it takes about 15 minutes to discuss a few possible coaching candidates. Get a life.

Hey what difference does it make? Saban already closed on his new home in BR, right? Or was that Spurrier... I saw Herbstreit at T.J. Ribs with Michael Vick, too...

UM is desperate right now. They have hit one road block after another and Miles actually knows a number of coaches who could be a good fit at Michigan. He is an alum who has decided not to go back and probably feels a duty to help them find the best coach available.

That being said....who really knows what is ACTUALLY going on right now. I have a hard time believing Miles would lie to the #1 recruit in La to get him to commit one day after he supposedly met with Michigan.

Ditto that.

quote:

Clement said his decision invoked an emotional reaction by Miles.

"He loved it," Clement said. "I was in his office with my mom and my stepdad. He was just psyched about it."

He's not leaving. He has said many times that he would help them however he could but that he's not going. Having a phone convo does not keep him from gameplanning for OSU.

If this is what happened I wouldn't have a problem with it. He may have just given them a few names and probably gave them his opinion on a few guys they might be interested in. Nothing wrong with that. I hope that is what happened.

Or maybe he was talking to them about OSU and how much we are going to destroy them....

Well, he has a lot of connections. And he seems pretty adept at hiring quality assistant coaches. Why not?

If Les was going to Michigan, why are they still contacting and being turned down by other coaches.

Doesn't make sense to me.
