It's time to either 1) sit Dean or 2) move him to the 9 hole. PM has to do something to shake him up.

WOW - this was not a "BASH HAWTHORNE" thread - it was more of a recognition that Coogan is doing a fine job as a fill-in.

I said permanent "fill-in", not replacement. Did my use of the English language confuse you?

Next time, I'll type slower.

Goodbye Jim, hello Patrick...

Let's start a petition to make Patrick Coogan the permanent fill-in for Jim. It's a good combination, as Charlie can do play-by-play the entire game, and Coogan offers some interesting insight. Not to mention the fact that Charlie actually seems to enjoy the give-and-take with Patrick, whereas he always seems like he wants to punch Hawthorne. What do ya'll think?

The PK/P from Lafayette is Tyler Listi of St Thomas More. Strong leg with solid, consistent stroke on FGs. Will only get stronger in the program. Good find for the Tigers.

SEC Road games...

It is so hard to watch road games in the SEC - the refs flat out suck. Back-to-back charges called (with the Tigers down 4), the mugging on Thornton, down 2. I'm amazed Trent didn't get tossed. 28 fouls by LSU to 14 by Bama. Piss poor to say the least.

Tyler Listi (All-State P/K from STM) is a legitimate kicker at the D-1 level. He has a tremendous work ethic, and the upside for Tyler is huge. I would not be surprised at all to see him on the field next year.
We also have a walk-on from St Thomas More in Lafayette - Tyler Listi. Look out for this kid - he's an All State punter/kicker who can really boom it.

Absolutely - he said "I don't know if the technical foul was warranted, but I got to battle for my guys - they were getting knocked to the floor all night". I also like that he said "he absolutely hates to lose". Jim says something about a moral victory, and Trent would have none of it.
Agreed - my ONLY pet peeve about Miles (up to this point) has been his poor clock management at the end of halves. We have 38 seconds, 3 TOs, and we come away with a FG attempt. Pitiful. End of regulation, we have 3 TOs, ball on Arky 46, 19 seconds left, and end up with a 63 yard FG attempt, and 2 TOs in the bank. Again, PITIFUL.

BullSam - don't be a frickin' IDIOT
Anyone who buys a ticket has a right to "boo" players whenever he wants, regardless of how childish it may seem. As a season ticket holder, I also have the right to tell those who boo that they are a-holes. It works both ways.

The new media darlings...

ESPN bowl projections have Bama as the unanimous selection to play in the BCS NC.
Is that Bob Eucker doing the audio for the SEC interactive site? A bit low and outside.

Please - uou act like Miles has to prepare for 5 continuous weeks - it takes about 15 minutes to discuss a few possible coaching candidates. Get a life.

Les is not leaving...

Last Friday on Jordy's show, Miles stated that he would assist Michigan with their new coaching search. That's all this is - chill out.
