Could anybody with experience in this area share some of the facts? Things like where you can buy beer/liquor, how late you can buy it and how late bars stay open?

They will adopt Louisiana rules. Seriously some of the wildest parties I've been to were in Wisconsin.

bro, do you even Wisconsin?

What I want to know is more what hours I can legally buy alcohol in stores. I'll get to Green Bay late and I'll be waking up very early for college gameday so I'm gonna need to stock up on beer sometime in between

What are you gonna do about an ice chest? I'm assuming you are flying in. If driving just buy day before. If flying, I would pack clothes in the yeti and check it at airport

I'm flying. So I'm buying a small one as my personal item and my clothes in my backpack.

Scratch that. My backpack is my personal item and I have a duffel that everything including the small ice chest will go in. I'm mostly concerned with having a 6 pack to drink before gameday starts and then after that I'll be heading to my cousins tailgate.

that's about right, I'm pretty sure that people from Green Bay invented tailgating and are extremely friendly, they are the real deal of what everyone says about our tailgaters, you just about can't walk by them without them extending an offer to join them

Bars are open until 2am weekdays 230 am weekends. Grocery and convenience stores can sell alcohol, but retail sale of liquor and wine end at 9pm and beer at midnight. That's a state law, so local municipalities can further restrict sales. They can sell starting at 6am.

Pretty sure Wisconsin fans are the biggest drinkers around.

Dude, it's a road trip and an important game! Time to man up and plan accordingly!
Buy a 5th of bourdon and a couple of large plastic flasks in Louisiana. Fill the flasks and duct tape the lids before you leave. Wrap 'me in a towel and throw in the middle of your duffle bag.
A 5th should last for Gameday and the game. If not, consider rehab as an option! LMAO!
GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!

That's all well and good but the duffel is actually a carry on. The liquor wouldn't make it through the gates.

Then check a bag. I hate people who carry on a lot of crap and screw up boarding for everyone else. It's no big deal.

College. Not shelling out 25$. This trip is already costing me a fortune. It's a duffel and a backpack. It's never an issue and there's never any fumbling around or screwing up. Do it all the time. Of course if you'd like to finance my trip, I'd be more than willing to accept donations.

In the '70's the drinking age for all alcohol in Wisconsin was 18. I did 18 shots of Wild Turkey on my 18th birthday in that state. Woo Hoo!
