That surprises me. I liked the first and second (sorry Ace) but I've had zero interest in the trailers so far.

I no longer trust Rotten Tomatoes.

I had low expectations so I am pretty excited now.

Looked pretty awful, so I guess this is a good sign

first trailer with beastie boys is one of the worst things i've ever seen.

When Ghostbusters has a 75% on RT, it has lost all credibility in my book.

The last trailer looked excellent.
Cannot wait for the movie...still trying to get to the US Premiere in San Diego next week.

Trailers for both movies and games that don't feature the sound track from the medium itself are generally unwatchable to me

Can we start these threads using Metacritic now?

I just rewatched Star Trek the Undiscovered Country.
None of these new movies are Star Trek...at all. Not even close.
It's like 90210 meets Hunger Games meets Star Wars meets Bazooka Joe bubble-gum.

quote:Agree, though I did think the first one wasn't bad. This one looks better than the second one, but who knows? If they're still employing the formula in which they just spit out random characters and events from the OS (because the time line is all screwy), it will be total garbage.

Maybe the worst Star Trek movie of all time. Well, maybe the last two TNG movies were worse. They are so bad I remember them as one bad movie, with a cloned Picard and people with stretched faces.
