Nice alter and troll job.

Wrong on both counts.
Why so paranoid?

No one bitches about NOLA or Lowerline because nobody cares about NOLA or Lowerline. Would you care if Tin Roof changed their Blonde recipe which changed it only marginally? No, because nobody is drinking that crap to begin with.

If you want a passable sour in this state you need to head to Shreveport.

Dude, NOLA came in second at the craft beer cup for brett beer with their Sauvage. I had it at the taproom this weekend and it is very good. Also, sour beer is not nearly as "easy" as dialing in as non-sour/funk beers.

You are coming off the rails.

I agree with you that OV and Reve didn't need to be touched. Their initial releases were absolutely fantastic. But, as someone else said, these are both brewery only releases. OV was in bottles and again, i haven't had the new batch yet so i'll reserve judgement, but the 1st release was one of my favorite beers. Reve was also fantastic out the gate. I did hear the same as others, about the coffee gumming up the works and the vanilla beans. But, that being said, that's a taproom only release. Let them figure out the best way to make it. They know more about brewing than anyone commenting. They've actually done the work. I'm sure they may agree that the first release of both may have been better, just trying to get it dialed in. Again to the flavor profile they want. My hopes, is that the change in OV was simply some fine tuning and they go back towards the original if this newest batch is as different as everyone says. Reve, let them work out the kinks. Thats why breweries have taprooms.

Yeah, all the grocery stores just throw it away, then restock.

Woah, let's pump the troll brakes a little. No need to knock Lowerline, which is fantastic (especially the dry-hopped version) and equate it to TR Blonde in order to keep your troll going.

Parish has an ego problem. They make some great beers and they know it, but they think they can make better beers. The problem is they don't change up the names, which I assume is a TTB/economics thing. If they were doing this shite in their taproom on taps where labels, bottles, boxes, whatever else didn't matter, then they could change up the names when they changed the recipes, but they don't, which from a consumer standpoint is kind of shitty, imo. When I buy a labeled product, I expect consistency (barring something labeled as an experimental product, ala Yazoo Hop Project).
