Well and to lend credence to his comments, didn't I read that Dallas PD has significantly reduced aggressive interactions with civilians?

How has he not been called an uncle tom yet by the BLM crew?

Never in a Clinton admin......she hates people in uniform and it's well documented how she looks down on those that protect her! He would have a place in a Trump admin.!

Is it too late to put him on a presidential ticket? He'd have my vote for sure.

Cop's aren't Social Workers or Wet Nurses, they're the thin blue line. They're here to make sure that BLM rock thrower isnt crawling thru one of my windows at 3am.

Don't mean to twist the subject, and I agree with your thoughts that this guy is a leader and if held a national position I believe he would do very well. However, replace him with a white police chief with the same words, and I wonder does it have the same effect? If I'm being honest, I think I would almost expect any police cheif to say these sentiments, but for whatever reason, his thoughts, speech, tone, and directness come across highly effective.
I thought this white guy was pretty effective, but then again, I'm white. He definitely made those reporters realize how stupid their questions were. (Note its from 2014). I would take this guy as VP with the Dallas captain as President on an independent ticket to run our country.

They do so much yet are, on average, one of the most obese professions in the country?
Posted on 7/11/16 at 10:42 pm to Asgard Device
Are we going to talk about the obesity of African Americans, while we are on the topic of obesity? Stop being an idiot.

Somewhat off topic, but they replayed what the chief said today on 105.3 the fan in the metroplex and followed up with some callers who called in Friday morning to the station.
The one that really impressed me was a black man who said he was a grandfather said he had always hated cops and never trusted them. He said his grandkids were with him the night of the shootings and one of them finally asked him, "Grandpa, why do you hate the police?"
He said right then he knew he was wrong all those years and that he'll never have a bad thing to say about a cop again after what happened. It was something that made me think/hope that we're moving in the right direction.

I wasn't disputing the truth of your statement. But since cops and African Americans have that in common, maybe that's a cause they can all get behind.

Cops and BLM are two of the most ridiculous special interest groups in America. They deserve each other, but unfortunately I have to side with the cops on most of this because BLM is pretty much all assholes. I'll still retain a healthy cynicism of government though, and cops are a large part of government.

He's correct. I've had cops tell me this before. The problem is the over regulation, over legislation of the country, and the over criminalization that comes with it.
We've traded freedom for security, false security and it's destroying the country.

Heard about a supreme court ruling from 2005 that said the police have no obligation to protect you unless they are working security for an event or something. It is your responsibility. Heard about it on the louder with crowder podcast

I hear where you are going with this...
But not sure that case applies. Tragedy what happened to this women, but her lawyers arguments were stupid....that a protective order gave her a property right in the enforcement of the restraining order. LINK

I love it, but don't most police forces require a somewhat clean criminal record?

Does anyone have a link that details what happened with his son killing an officer?
