Fox 26 and abc 13 reporting that a nearby gas station has surveillance video of the incident but they aren't releasing that video to the media yet. Same with body cam video.

Haven't read the whole thread. When I got up the news was reporting that he had a gun.
They interviewed the guys wife, she said he was angry because someone stole his horse.

If he has a gun in the air and is lowering it towards the officers then you have to take him out. There's only .2 seconds from him lowering it to him shooting at you. People act like these situations happen in slow motion and there should be other options. You have to take out the threat with a gun before he takes you out.

I'm not trusting the words of an officer at this point without some substantial evidence to corroborate. They can say anything to swing a situation like this in their favor.
