Really? Not even wondering why they decided to rip off the look of Foxy Brown?

not at all, this is comic books we're talking abou here.

Woman Thor, alternate universe's, black Spider-Man, turn coat Captain America, it goes on and on.

you have to get pretty worked up to act like this surprises you. I'm sure we will have plenty of Iron Man aficionados that have never read an Iron man comic but have seen all the films tell us how much of a slap in the face this is.

Hollywood and writers should redo all of the classic and iconic movies, comic books, books and graphic novels in order to make all of the main characters female, minorities or LGBT people. This is the best way to social justice Utopia.

I don't see the issue.

Tony Stark steps out of the game for a minute. Badass genius woman takes over.

This is precisely WHY they won't go this route. It's too obvious.

I'm all for more characters, more diversity, but give "Iron Man" some other role in the Universe/Comic Books. It's starting to seem like a huge "statement" play every time they announce one of these. Falcon, made sense. Jane, made some sense. Amadeus, made sense. X-23, made sense. Miles, well that made comic book sense but it still worked. And Miles, Amadeus and Sam are all great characters and have done well. Jane....meh.

I'm not sure if this one does, or it casts into doubt some of those other stories. That is of course if this sticks, which I'm not so sure of. Maybe this is brief respite for Tony? Not enough info to react really.

Until I noticed the lack of the bionic arm, I thought it was Misty Knight, which I would have been fine with.

Creating a new character so Iron Man can be a minority is just odd. Now it is comics so it is par the course. I will say I really enjoyed Female Thor and own several issues. I may grab this just to see.

Long story short, disappointed they didnt use Misty Knight for this but as long as it is a good story I wont care.

I think your picture is Misty Knight, not the new Iron Man Girl.

They're going to name her Riri. Sounds Ree Reetarded. Seriously, that's the best name they could come up with?

I just wonder when they're going to get out of the cliché of every super hero being either a super genius or billionaire, or both.

This. And that would have made sense on multiple levels.

They also are bringing back Patriot, as a girl as well. So no more War Machine? Was the word "War" too offensive now?

It's pretty obvious that they felt the same way about Don Cheadle as everyone else that's seen an Iron Man movie.
