GF is taking me to steak dinner for my birthday in August. Thinking La Boca or Doris Metropolitan. Thoughts? Other suggestions?

I'm a filet man personally, but it there another "must have" cut to get from one of these restaurants?

Dickie Brennan's does a good house filet with Pontalba potatoes and fried oysters.

I like a bone in filet. Someone ordered one at LaBoca and it was good. Haven't been to Doris.

Can't go wrong with La Boca and it will be cheaper than most places.
Best steak in NOLA is dry aged prime strip at Delmonico

I only ate there once but Doris Metropolitan didn't seem very upscale to me other than the prices. They rushed us thru dinner and the tables are on top of each other. The steak was ok but I've had better.
