Not bad. I'd much prefer betting on young players with room to improve, rather than overpaying vets who have maxed out already. A guy like Solomn Hill is more likely to play up to his contract than a guy like Batum.

Lets put this in perspective... the Pacers didn't pick up their club option for him at $2.3m, but the pels want to pay him $13m/yr. brilliant.

I like to be optimistic, but god damn that's a lot of money to pay a backup SF/borderline starter. But its atleast an attempt to be better. Better than James Posey signing atleast
