He's right, but us pharmaceutical HGH is pretty amazing.

can't say it contributed to my heart attack,but at 900ml a week I can't say it didn't.

If you're not lying and that dosage is real, that's insane.

Yeah, my doctor will not put anyone on them unless it's very necessary. She says they are dangerous because they are overprescribed.

He's not overweight and worked out regularly. He had severe exhaustion to the point he had troubling getting out of bed, on the days he was able to get up, he said he was always tired. He said he would sleep 12-14 hours sometimes and finally went to the doctor. His testosterone levels were very low and so the the doctor got him on some kind of gel first, then eventually the shots. Pretty crazy. My wife talked to his wife today and they said they are gonna try these pellets that are inserted into his abdomen. Supposedly safer than the shots and gel. No idea, but I would be wary of taking any kind of testosterone. Like I said, just putting the word out.

1cc a week. You'll be fine , if you need it. Sounds like your friend might have been a drinker or doing something else combined with T that caused it:,

Used correctly exogenous testosterone poses little cardiovascular risks. This is assuming the doctor actually knows how to manage testosterone replacement. It's not just a weekly shot and forget it. As stated above, you have to monitor for erythrocytosis which is hardly a problem at doses 200mg per week and less. Another problem is aromatase enzyme activity. This has to be managed with aromatase inhibitors to prevent high estradiol and subsequent SHBG up regulation. There are many other aspects of testosterone supplementation but I don't have time to address them all.
I'm guessing this guy already had coronary disease and he was using higher doses and/or not being managed correctly. This is assuming he actually had a heart attack as opposed to heart failure/cardiomyopathy.

Pellets not so good. You can't take them out once they go in. There is a nasal spray out there now....

You should have him head to the t-nation.com t replacement forums for some reading.

I'm currently on it but the Dr just cut it off due to my psa's being 5.1. I'm not sure how I'm going to make it. I feel like shite when I don't take it.

Ben. Your doc can off label clomid to try to restart your natural production.

In the meantime you need to drop as much weight as you can. Build up big muscle groups. Squats and push ups everyday.

Have them check your estrodiol. If it's too high they can give you a blocker to bring it down and bring up you testosterone. Ideal for most people is 22-25 on the estrodiol

It's crazy how somebody would take the shots m... seriously just do some leg presses stop masturbating for a month and take zinc every once in a while. Your t will be fine within 2 weeks.

Really, what if your balls don't work after getting fried from chemo, then what do you do? I've been taking them for 15 years, risk is always involved when taking any meds. But, what is a balless man supposed to do?

This seems like a good place to suggest that every guy that can should donate blood as often as possible. You effectively lower your risk of a heart related event in half (that of a woman), plus you could save other lives. I donate through LifeSouth - A free physical + free movie tickets + a cholesterol reading every time I donate.

33 y/o on testosterone injections?

Why was he started on TRT (that is the more important question)?

Is he:

Obese
Prediabetic/diabetic/insulin resistant
Eating a very shitty inflammatory American diet
Working shift work getting poor sleep
Maximally stressed from job/life

These contribute to adiposity leading to low T (skewed testosterone/estrogen ratio due to aromatase in fat) in someone his age (and also drive long term risk for cardiovascular disease)

The consesus literature on testosterone replacement is a reduction in cardiovascular risk and all cause mortality in a person on well structured TRT regimen/monitoring/with lifestyle changes. Feel free to look it up (Dr. Abraham Morgentaler is well published in this field)

This may be a case of blaming the firefighter for the fire (because wherever those guys are there is a fire most of the time)....
