Why is this title so divisive?

The 3 Day Cycle and lack of dungeons. I can understand someone not liking the game, but to call it the worst Zelda game is nonsense. It is incredibly unique and the atmosphere is palpable and incredible. Might be the most apocalyptic game ever made.

I don't want to talk about MM anymore but it's my favorite Zelda title always has been.

Edt: skill kid alone under the single tree. Beautiful.

Why? Zelda has a high bar so being the worst doesn't even make it bad.

The backed up septic tank of the house that is a Zelda thread.

I don't jump down anyone's throats for not liking the game. It is clearly a very stressful, aimless, and difficult game, so that's not going to be for everyone. I just defend why I think it's the best game in the franchise, and I'd put some of the points on why people say they dislike it into reasons to enjoy it.

What you DO do is unload a diarrhea waterfall of exposition in these threads that just makes everyone want to run.

I can see why some people wouldn't like it I guess, it's definitely a different game regarding the setting and knowing that literally everyone around you is preparing for death the entire game and having to constantly go through that feeling every time you restart time until you finally beat it.

The atmosphere is not why I dislike it. I loved last of us. I dislike having to replay a bunch of content and dungeons are my favorite part of Zelda games

this didn't really hit me, until I visited the Ranch and did the Cucco herding. "A shame I wont see them grow up"

and inside the Stock pot inn. Them discussing how to avoid the moon blast

I wasn't aware at first they everyone knew the moon was coming. Now as I go back and talk to people, with me knowing that they do know.. the conversations have an added weight to them that is pretty disturbing.

I love it.

Creates a true sense of place and severity of the situation.
