Not my failures. Just the drain on my paycheck for their welfare, the near collapse of the economy, and their sheer inability to realize that most news stories on facebook are fake.

It's not my issue but I have yet to understand the selfie generation. I was waiting in a long line at Academy the other day and saw three people, while waiting in line taking selfies of themselves. They'd take one, look at it, sort of have a semi disappointed look on their face, then take another. I mean...has the world become that narsasistic? Why do you need a selfie of yourself in line at a store? What was more disappointing was two of them were boys.
Was also sitting behind a couple at an Astros game a couple weeks ago. I watched them take 11 selfies trying to get the 'right one'. I finally asked if they'd like me to take their picture to which they replied, "Naw, we want it to be a selfie."
Maybe I'm old...I just don't get it.

What most people don't realize is that every generation will think their ways are superior to the following generation. If people in the 50's grew up with smartphones then they would be taking selfies 24/7.
The heart of the problem is the problem of the heart. We are ALL selfish people looking out for ourselves most of the time and promoting our image. We self preserve. We live our lives according to the way our hearts are wired, and that's to please the "self"
