Does she want to do something that will put her name in the news ? It will probably be a television special

I've just gotten through Part 4 last night.
It didn't help that I was in law school during the trial It is the most high profile criminal trial in U.S. history. It's a sociological phenomenon - here is a guy who transcended race, but because that was the only way he walks, his trial team made the case all about race - not O.J.'s race, but of race relations between black folks and the LAPD.
Very strange. And the strange characters it drew - setting aside the odd birds of the Dream Team, just having Ito, Clark, Darden, Gates, Lange, Vannater, Fuhrman, etc., plus O.J., Nicole and their circle of friends and associates. I remember thinking, "How are they going to fill 7 or 8 hours?" Now I realize they had to cut a lot of stuff.
Completely fascinating. And O.J. walking (he's guilty as hell) is simultaneously frustrating and understandable.

Also Hodgman giving a sequential blow by blow of the murders blew my mind
yeah...that was intense.
I also couldnt believe how graphically they showed the crime scene photos.

You weren't getting enough Jurors in those 12 to convict. Like I said earlier in the thread. It was over when it was decided to have the trial downtown. You might have had a hung jury, but that was their best chance. The prosecution had no idea what it was getting itself into.
It was over when a former Black Panther lied his way onto the jury.

I think Darden is done talking about this case for the most part
I bet he is. Nobody wants to relive their biggest failures.

They would be able to print money from the ratings that would get and I'm surprised Kris Jenner hasn't floated it out there yet.
Maybe keeping it in the back pocket if ratings ever drop for KUWTK.

Finished part one, and about half of part 2 this weekend waiting on game 7 to start. I'll likely finish it up this week or weekend, but so far it is very well done. My wife was a little shocked at the language in parts, then I told her we were streaming from ESPN so they didn't censor anything. She even loves the 30 for 30s that we've watched, which is rare because she is not into sports in any way.

quote:Eh. She knows Simpson did it. She makes herself feel better by saying the prosecution screwed up. Goes to show how much of a role the personality of the attorneys plays in the courtroom. Look at the Casey Anthony trial. Jeff Ashton vs Cheney Mason. She fell for the Cochran charm. She was never going to rock the jury boat either. She clearly justifies is to herself by blaming the prosecution. Still no mention of actual evidence.
Juror #2 seemed to be a much more reasonable person than some probably expected.

was the shoe even mentioned in the trial?

In her defense, the prosecution did one hell of a shitty job.
Posted on 6/21/16 at 12:41 pm to BilJ
Yes. But more so in that the prints were a combination of blood.
Another piece missed by the doc was that the defense put up their own version of who killed her... Trained assassins hired by the drug cartels... I would say you can't make that up, but they did.

the old black lady straight up said, they voted not guilty as pay back....and in part 5 mentions they take care of their own.
People can blame the prosecution, Fuhrman, etc. but after seeing this its apparent short of having video of OJ killing them, they weren't going to win this one.
