Pretty much as I remembered except for one thing, I had not remember Shaprio throwing Johnny C and F. Lee under the bus after the verdict.
Then again, I'm sure news organizations were offering top dollar for someone on the inside to flip once the trial was over.

Yeah, I get the premise. I was just wanting to know what she said that he was wearing. Some sort of pin.

I think there was also a pin. They show a scene from the courtroom. Looked like he had a hook of some sort on his lapel.

I seem to remember some discussion about a pin Johnnie wore or maybe they all wore during the trial. That's all I can recall and I could be wrong about it.
ETA: This article says he wore a statue of liberty pin with "liberty" on it. I saw some other articles which said he wore a fraternity pin, also.

Question, this might be mixing the TV series & the doc. But didn't they find a trail of blood leading into OJ's house from the white bronco.
Something I'm surprised the doc didn't cover more were the two people who sold stories to hard copy and the national enquirer.
1) A guy sold him a knife 3 weeks before the murder. Police searched his house 3 times and never found it. OJ "told his lawyers where it was in the kitchen" and they turned up with it and brought it to the judge in a plastic bag. They had it tested and it was still covered in a thin coating from the manufacturer suggesting it was never used once on anything. TTFWIW.
2) A woman saw his Bronco speeding off down the street and almost collide with a Nissan car. She was the only person to see his vehicle in the area at the time of the crime.
Both of these witnesses gave testimony during the Grand Jury proceeding. But then they sold their stories and the prosecution couldn't bring them to the stand.
ETA: Another point that often gets looked over are the shoes. It originally wasn't a big topic during the criminal trial because they could never prove Simpson owned a pair of the rare shoes. But eventually a single picture surfaced which Cochran claimed could easily have been doctored since the start of the trial. Once the criminal trial was over, many more pics were found of him wearing the shoes. So it became a big deal in the civil case where they have footage of him claiming not to own a pair yet multiple pics with him in them.

Also Hodgman giving a sequential blow by blow of the murders blew my mind

Yeah Goldman's death seemed pretty brutal only because there seemed to be more of a struggle...."trapped himself in a killing cage"
Also him slipping and telling his agent the route he took home from the murders

One of the arresting detectives was also really critical of other people, but didn't admit much fault for his own ineptness in the initial questioning of OJ.

I still believe that if the shoe pictures had turned up during the criminal trial, he may have been convicted. So few were sold in the US. Others will disagree.
In his civil deposition he denied owning those "ugly arse shoes". That sealed the deal, though the burden of proof was obviously substantially lower.

You weren't getting enough Jurors in those 12 to convict. Like I said earlier in the thread. It was over when it was decided to have the trial downtown. You might have had a hung jury, but that was their best chance. The prosecution had no idea what it was getting itself into.

amazing that clark lost every mock trial they did before the real trial. Also the documentary was Far different from the mini-series in that the prosecution clearly knew a lot about the Fuhrman problem before it ever started. It was a catch-22, dont want to put him on the stand then they couldnt admit the glove at Rockingham. Put him on the stand to testify about the glove and open him up to cross examination.
Jeffrey Toobin was great as a commentator on the doc

was toobin effectively a mouthpiece for the defense when they told him to look into Fuhrman?

Requiring the jury to be sequestered was really the final nail, that assured they'd mainly be picking from a pool of idiots
