As long as it's not homeruns then who cares. He keeps the HR's down and walks down. That's how you win

Get outta here with that shite. You know how difficult it is to give up 8 hits and zero runs? He's currently 3rd in the national league in WHIP. 8 hits is actually a season high for him, and 4 were bloopers over the infield. Doesn't take away from the fact he pitched a great ballgame.

i forgot that they changed the rule. Hits are more important than runs now!

He's dealing, go bring down the mood somewhere else.

Good game by Nola, but also bad game by the Brewers leaving a bunch of runners stranded. The game could have easily gone the other way.

He was the reason that they left the runners stranded, you idiot. You're the guy that says theyre an LSU fan but constantly cheers for LSU to fail so you can say "told ya so." GTFO.

You are right. All the greats never gave up many hits their first year. Hell, Greg Maddux only gave up 12 hit per 9 innings his first year and only 11 per 9 his second year...wait+

The new Bill Simmons website The Ringer had a long article about the Phillies the other day.

Brought up the drafting of Nola as one of the reasons they are turning it around.

Basically, Nola is not going unnoticed by MLB followers.

Do we really have a guy in here complaining about HITS when Nola is pitching a shut out?

The Rant is just a sea of negativity. Unreal.

Way to go Aaron Nola!

You're right. He should shut it down and come back to BR to coach 3rd for LSU.
