Herbie is generally pretty high on LSU...not saying much at all in that piece, though.

we let Harris throw over 80 times in the Ole Miss and Arky games combined and got drilled in both. Maybe turning him loose isn't the answer.

I like the fact that he is at least somewhat Pro-LSU when Finebaum and basically everyone else covering the SEC has their noses stuck up Bama's butthole.
Now honestly, although I never said it, I felt like we were a year away when he said it last year, with Harris being a full-time starter for the first time and having to play at Bama. But NOW, Harris is experienced, Bama comes here and basically the whole West division minus Ole Miss will have a new QB. Barring some key injuries, there really are no excuses not to win the conference this year.
Now honestly, although I never said it, I felt like we were a year away when he said it last year, with Harris being a full-time starter for the first time and having to play at Bama.
