The most polarizing athlete in history. Never has been or ever will be another like him. May he rest in peace.

It's official.

A great athlete but not a great American. May he rest in peace.

Dude fought the best at their best and won most of the time.

Has my respect for what he did in the ring.

Probably the GOAT

I didn't like his boxing style and I damn sure didn't like his racist views...but he stood for what he believed in and I respect that...

Rest in peace, champ....

quote:

Muhammed Ali Dead at 74

He took a few cups of love.
He took one table spoon of patience.
One table spoon, tea-spoon of generosity.
One pint of kindness.
He took one quart of laughter.
One pinch of concern.
And then he mixed willingness with happiness.
He added lots of faith.
And he stirred it up well.
Then he spread it over a span of a lifetime.
And he served it to each and every deserving person he met.

RIP, to the greatest boxer that ever lived, Muhammad Ali

Maybe I'm being carried away but isn't this a HUGE sports death? Who was the last sports person to die as big as Ali? I'm failing to even come up with anyone right now.

ETA: MAYBE Ted Williams???
