It's a combination of Poche being a veteran and that this is not a particularly dominant LSU team that can steamroll anyone regardless of who we put out there on the mound.

I dont see the need to announce a roatation at all. Play it by ear with the weather, if valleys lineup is full of lefies throw a combo of latz and valek

No. This is not even remotely close. You pitch the sequence that gives you the best chance to win no matter how good your hitting is. The winner of the winners bracket is about 85% likely to win it all. So that means you win your first two games and you're the champ. Therefore, you pitch your two best pitchers in games 1 and 2. Since game 2 is the tougher competition, you pitch your top guy in game 2 and your 2nd guy in game 1.

CPM will go 2-1 in regionals until he retires. The only way he'll stray is if you have a bunch of lefties in the lineup of the 2 seed and your #2 pitcher is a lefty.
