The Irvine super regional. Was at the game for game 2 on that miserably hot day sardined into the old box bleachers. I remember telling this Irvine guy leaving the stadium "you guys have absolutely no chance tomorrow. It's gone be a massacre". Wish I could have seen the guy at game 3

Hard to beat the Warren Morris walkoff as the best moment in Tigers history though

Warren Morris. I had a little league game that morning. Mad it home in time to watch the last three innings.

Warren Morris is the top LSU moment for any sport IMO. I was very young at the time and I have very limited memories of it, so the 3 that stand out in my mind are:

1) Game 1 vs. Texas in 2009
2) LSU vs Stanford in 2000
3) Game 2 vs UC Irvine

Three way tie for me.

1. For obvious reasons... Warren Morris walkoff HR in the 96 CWS. People forget that he missed most of that season with a broken wrist. That was my first trip to Omaha, but because of work requirements, we had to leave the day before the championship game. (That was painful.)

1. Ray Wright catch to rob a HR in the 2000 CWS. This was early in the game, but ultimately, it made a difference in the outcome.

This was my third trip to Omaha and we were sitting right in front of Brad Cresse's dad for this game behind 1st base. We felt bad for Mr. Cresse because every time Brad came up to bat, a reporter would stick a microphone in his face while asking him questions. He was cordial, but kept telling them that he just wanted to watch his son play.

1. Same game... Brad Cresse's single to score Ryan Theriot from second to beat Stanford. What made this one so good was that Cresse was the team leader in in ERA and homeruns, yet he was hitless to this point at the CWS.

2014 SEC tournament championship game. #32 starting and pitches 4 shutout innings. Tigers win 2-0.

I really loved the last inning against LBS when Walker hit in the winning run in '93.

The DJ hit against Texas in the 9th in '09 had me standing up screaming lol

Morris' Homer is of course #1.

Rich Cordani's homer to go ahead of a great USC team is up there too.

This, especially after the hidden ball "trick" in Game 2.

Bottom of 9th, 2 outs, NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP on the line... Every young boy's dream!

So many but I have two that I think were most exciting

- When Mason Katz hit a mammoth of a HR to dead CF against UCLA during the 2013 CWS. Since we lost most people forgot about it but he hit it about 25-30 feet high on the big black wall that used to be in CF in Omaha.

- Mikie Mahtook during a game against UNO. He was in RF and the ball was hit over his head and bounced back off the wall. The runner on second tagged up and was going home. He caught the ball off the hop of the wall and turned around and threw a bullet to home plate to get him out. It was one of the best throws I've ever seen in person.

I got another few moments...

The Jared Foster throw to the plate in the SEC Title game against Vandy

Tyler Moore HR against Stony Brook

Blake Dean 3 run Double against Rice to come from behind in the 9th to win their first game in Omaha a few years ago.

but I fell in love with baseball in 2008 UC Irvine series.

I remember playing rice in Omaha too.. I believe we went 1-2 that year in Omaha. I believe that was in Omaha. Those games brought a whole new type of love for LSU baseball to the generation that wasn't around for the 90's LSU baseball teams. Then the 09 championship solidified that love
