Wow, the Saw movies are really intense.

I watched the first one when it came out and remember it being pretty hardcore. I'm in the middle of the 4th now and they are all over the top. These movies are out there. I can't believe they were popular enough for them to make so many.

I stopped watching them forever when they threw the chick from Becker into the needle pit. Couldn't handle it.

The first movie was actually very good, and it had some unique twists I've never seen in other movies

It turned into torture/gore porn with the third movie

They are good but I will take the Hostel movies over them.

I've seen the first 5 and enjoyed them all to varying degrees. The first is one of the best horror movies in recent memory. Jigsaw is a great character. Tobin Bell's performance makes these movies work.

First 2 were good. Rest of them were dumb as shite.

Recently, found out they are making an 8th film to try and revive interest.

Called Saw Legacy

The first is fantastic. One of the better horror films in the last couple decades. It turned into torture porn and went off the rails, but I liked how they connected the entire story in the last 3

I feel stupid admitting this, but I didn't think Cary Elwes was actually English until I saw him doing an interview for Saw. Yeah I know.
