Uh, did you see the alleged language used against the kid? I'd say its relevant in this case.

Also, TIL that a black family lives in Idaho.

It kinda is needed here. Race actually played a part in this it seems. They called him chicken eater, watermellon lover, ni****, etc.

different day and time but we had an "element" like that on our HS football team that did something similar to a white kid because he asked out the slut that one of the thugs was banging(he didn't know that, she was the village bicycle,) beat the living crap out of him, stomped his head in, sodomized him, he had brain damage, charges were filed and of course all of the thugs lied on the stand and were acquitted, the only justice was that the two ring leaders of this incident were dead within a year after graduation

Bringing up race is pretty necessary to tell the story, based on the details.
