Never understand rap and the violence that seems to follow it.

He must have died serving his home country, and been a proud Citizen of The U.S.A.. Did he die doing something heroic, like fighting for his brothers in the desert,or helping people that were being killed and starved for just a taste of water?

Tell us how he was a hero.

I like knowing all the heroes.

I can only assume you feel the same for every American somebody, be it athlete, musician, actor, etc.

and I must've missed the part when anyone in this thread threw the hero label on him

you may not like rap. But the man, at worst, was top 3 in his craft. And is undoubtedly a staple in this country's music history. DWI

Ok,hope he gets anything that he deserves.Cross my heart on that.

I barely remember my own birthday, I remember my Father's and he has been dead for 37 years, my mother's,because her's is right behind my Dad's..then My daughter's because it's near Halloween, and she loves that day..she doesn't wait on me to remember.

well, do you remember when you got queer enough to remember somebody's birthday, that never gave a crap about you?

If you think about a person's birthday that is not related to you, you need to get a clue.

That makes you.. the Notorious F.A.G.

what, the reason that he died prematurely? I think that's an appropriate subject for a day he should be alive on.

That said Ready to Die is the GOAT

Nobody said he was a hero, he was a fricking drug dealer and rapper dipshit.
He still made awesome music and was an interesting person. There are noteworthy people that weren't in the military, just like there are shitty people who were in the military

Biggie was great but I feel his volume of music is too small comapred to 2pac and Eminem. He was just another gangster rapper whose legacy was boosted due to his early death and the way he died.

2 Pac is my GOAT just because of how he was on a different level than everyone else. He was educated to some degree. He read and tried to educate himself to while serving time. He recognized there were differences in people and tried to appreciate that. Not saying he wasn't a thug and that side of his personality led to his death. I just always appreciated how he could be so hard and then come back and make songs that appreciated women or something else. Once in a generation talent.

I was out of line, and I sincerely apologize.

It's just that making heroes out of stars, athletes, race car drivers,etc.. to the point of remembering their birthdays, that boggles my mind. I don't understand, and I have a younger brother that does that. On certain days, he will call me up a bit depressed, because it would have been Jim Morrison's birthday,Bonham's etc..

shite drives me nuts. I have a lot of people that I love their contributions, but to remember their birthday?
