I live in Corpus Christi and see the Hooks on the regular...I wouldn't consider Hernandez a rising prospect. The dude lacks consistently at the plate, simple as that. He has some raw talent, but i believe he is on year 3 in Double A, not a good sign.

Colin Moran got called up. I believe that only leaves Matt Duffy to play 3rd for the triple A club. I wonder if AB will get called up to AAA soon.

Maybe he gets to play 3B a bit more in AA before going up to AAA to play some OF.

He's learning how to catch again to ideally add some offense to that position in the majors.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but Bregman is murdering the ball.
Going in to the game today he had 11 HRs, 31 RBIs, and a 1.085 OPS. He's already hit #12 in today. I really hope he and fellow SEC alum AJ Reed get called up in June.

Great freakin bump! Alex has been awesome at third! He’s was huge throughout the playoffs and a big reason the Astros are champs!

It’s really hard not to be pumped for Alex Bregman. What a solid young man. He represents LSU extremely well, not just in his accomplishments to date in baseball and the WS, but just in the way he carries himself... Really happy for Bregman.
