Any tips for finding green snakes? Looks like they are nocturnal?

They are actually strictly diurnal. But, they are commonly found by shining overhanging trees along creeks and other semi-open areas where they sleep at night.
If you're thinking of trying to catch and keep one, wild caught ones can be pretty finicky and fragile in captivity.

…in true OB fashion, all 20 of these green demon spawn were properly identified as GDGM (goddamngreenmambas), gathered into a pile, and burned en masse with fire.

This youngster just came slithering across the back yard yesterday. Looked to have freshly shed. It headed straight for our grape arbor and hung out up top for a while.

If ya'll HerpeFanatics don't like seeing harmless snakes hanging dead on the end of rakes, please identify what you are showing us.
If I can definitively ID a friendly one, it goes along it's merry way...If I can't, I assume it is the VC and it gets lethal treatment as such.
I've run across a few that I'm not sure I should have let go. I fear for my dogs on our wooded and seasonally streamed lot.
