You have to go to the second-hand market for those items

1. Rock Hill Farms - $140?
2 WLW - $600
3. any George T Stagg $600
4. Weller 12 (I have 1 bottle but so hard to come by here) $100-$125

GTSA is getting $600 now? What secondary prices are you looking at these days?

Yes, but GTS Jr wasn't a rare find either. Now it goes for $100 on secondary

Dorignacs had it at $499 last year. Walked out and the last time I spent $$ there for anything.

I thought GTS was still $425-450ish? Depending on vintage can make a big difference

Don’t set your bourbon goals high, you will either be disappointed or go broke from secondary market. Go to tastings, find what you like, and go from there. Build a relationship with your local liquor store, buy mostly from them, and in a couple years, they will be calling you for a bottle of unicorn bourbon.

They also were selling OWA at 90$ a bottle. Was in there last week and they 3 blantons at $90 a pop. Unbelievable. Although last year I picked up a MWND for right at $100 IIRC. I don’t like shopping there anymore.

Looks like Tenn and Indiana. Just cracked it open. Trying to let it breath a little. Good first impression though.

quote:

Widow Jane The Vaults 2019 Bourbon 14 Year Old is super-new — they just announced it on August 21 of 2019. This exceptional Bourbon is sourced from just twenty casks of Tennessee and Indiana Whiskey that were aged a minimum of fourteen years. After marrying the two Spirits, they were finished in American oak casks that were air-seasoned for eight years. And those twenty-year old casks yielded just 500 cases of liquid gold at 49.5% ABV, so it’s sure to sell out, leaving a few million Bourbon fans thirsty. Don’t be one of the thirsty ones.
