Boeing 787 Dreamliner doing military style flying manuvers

Pretty cool, but 777 will probably say they are routine.

This time, the aircraft in question is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. If you haven’t heard of it, it doesn’t take a dictionary to figure out that this is one gigantic plane. Normally, such an aircraft would only be seen making conservative maneuvers, taking off and landing on a conservative incline while being filled up with passengers. This pilot, however, has a different task at hand as he as he gets this thing in motion, combat style, making some extreme maneuvers that you won’t believe. Check out the rather large airplane gone nimble in the video below as this thing moves around in ways that you would have never thought to be possible.

I thought the plane would fall out of the sky on takeoff. It damn near went straight up.

During the PGA event at Harbor Town last weekend they had a 787 fly over the course during the middle of the round doing some pretty nice maneuvers. The golfers stopped to watch, was very cool.

777 will dismiss it as a plastic toy.
It's a great jet and Boeing is selling a lot of them.

I made it a direct to youtube link for those who couldn't find the video. (ftr my ad counter is higher on TD than the link)

It was Tongue in cheek, he thinks Sulenburger doesn't deserve credit and should have flown to the airport, not ditched.

That's pretty impressive for a passenger jet. That ant at the beginning was the cherry on top

Can't wait for the 10 version of the 787 to roll off the line. It's a good looking plane and will replace the 200 version of the 777.
