Michigan never even called Miles' agent.

Instead all the speculation and "my cousin knows somebody that said Les bought a house" types week after week created an environment where LSU appeared to be (1) a shoe in for the Michigan job and (2) willing to leave LSU for that lower-paying gig.

LSU goes out and ups the money and contract time for a 'losing our coach' crisis that existed only in the minds of nutty fans.

Miles owes the rantards $$ for creating the hysteria that he cashed in on. Great job guys!!

actually he did take the job. Michigan jumped the gun by announcing it and pissed Miles off. He then chose to stay.

Based on post-game press conference I agree. I think there had been some kind of agreement b/w Miles and UM. He got a little emotional when he was asked the question about this was your last shot at UM. He also took a little dig at UM when he said he'll wear blue everytime the play OSU and someday they are going to beat them.

I think the deal had been reached and he got pissed when it was leaked. Not a big LM fans, but I do have respect for what he did as a person that took a lot of character.

I would say there is a 99.9% chance you're wrong about this. I'm sure they called quite a few agents over the last couple of weeks to gauge interest. In addition, Skip said weeks ago that a new contract extension would be offered to Les, Carr leaving probably sped up the process and may have gotten Miles some more money.

If anything, Rantards should share in the blame of the level of distraction this has caused over the last two weeks.

you are right, people blew this wide open and i feel bad for those who decided not to go to the game this weekend. I had so much fun and it was good seeing that orange botl out the stadium before the game was over.

It would have been nice if he would have thought enough of his "damn strong football team" to put this to rest last week, before the Ar-Kansas game.

Go on the 'tiger rant' board & read the posts by belowpar.

He's the only one who has been 100% accurate all along and he's got a completely different story. He even PM'd evidence in private to chicken which got his 'ban' lifted after telling the rant the 'Miles to Mich' story at ESPN was complete bunk right after that story broke.

Stop trying to stir up something you know nothing about. You guys just can't stand to be wrong can you?
