Per his Twitter (sorry don't have the link). I was wondering if he would play baseball or basketball.

Who is his Daddy? I went to LC with two Reese brother's from Anacoco.

Ricky and I were freshmen together at LC. Great guy and he could play some serious basketball.

He should try out for the basketball team. The kid can flat out shoot the rock.

Let's keep it in perspective that he plays in Class B.

Not a flame, but don't they play some quality ball in class B?

He's a 6'4" pitcher that can hit 91 on the gun and has never focused on baseball really. Can also hit but he's a pitcher at this level from day 1 with a lot of upside. If not mistaken lsu has had some pretty good players that came from a few small school kids. jc holt and scivicque come to mind real quick.

Small schools will embarrass you in baseball and basketball if you're not careful

JC Holt played at a Class B school and was a three year starter for LSU.

Class B Grace Christian beat Barbe in Lake Charles earlier this season.

He would have been a really good basketball player at the 5A level.

I think you keep in perspective the class of the school only tells how many kids go to the school.
Rapides high school use to be B and a few extra kids later, they are 2A and still one of the best basketball teams in the state.
Remember when Madison Prep was one of the best teams in the state as B?
You have to look at the big picture, look at their record, they play bigger schools all year and win. They generally only play B schools when it's time for district and playoffs.
I hate to admit anything nice about Anacoco, but the kid can flat out play and is a great shooter in basketball. Supposedly he should be an even better baseball player. He has several dual offers, including from Auburn. Apparently one of his baseball games brought out a few pro scouts. Kid must have something there.
I'll say this, I've watched the beck kid from ASH and the Reece kid several times, and have walked away more impressed with the B kid then the 5A kid.

Class B has some great teams, but they have some that should be playing in their local YMCA. Look at Runnels, didn't they 10 run rule the state championship game a few years ago?
