Nothing I posted should be controversial it should be common sense to even a casual fan.

Its unnecessary
You're taking shots when its not needed

I used the best example I know to show why strength in numbers and not one sole decision maker is light years ahead of the absentee owner - GM sole decision maker organizational structure.

I'd settle for them being light years ahead of the Jazz tonight

Yeah OK I'll take your word for it.

Yeah. I'm sure management gave Curry some early career durability issues (e.g., his ankles), then when they signed him to an extremely team friendly deal, fixed the durability issues then made him the best player in the NBA.
Curry really should hold out for a better deal

Is there precedent for that in the (modern) NBA?

I have no idea. But if anyone's ever had a case, it's him.

I feel like the players union wouldn't let that fly.
A great player holding out opens the door for owners saying "fine, no more guaranteed contracts."

Curry > structure, planning, and all those other things

Management didn't make Curry a walking cheat code
they selected his teeny arse.
They selected Draymond Green, very smart all around player, in the 2nd round mf's. late 2nd round. He was injured during the draft. gutsy risky high reward medium risk (a 2).

Ah, and here's the hubris.
