Mailman arrested for yelling at a car that nearly ran him over.

You couldn't tell what this mailman was arrested for from this video.

Ultimately, he was charged with disorderly conduct. The reason? He cursed at a car that nearly ran him over.
What's the difference between you yelling at a car that nearly ran you over and not being arrested and this guy? Well, the car he yelled at contained 4 cops.
And we all know that cops are elevated citizens that can't be verbally corrected even when they are the ones being the assholes.
ETA: just to be clear, he didn't yell at a "black and white". He yelled at an unmarked car with plainclothes officers.

I think it's because, more than any other form of LE, narcotics teaches the officers that every citizen is an addict. It's just that you haven't found every citizen's stash yet.

Sounds like these cops were huge pussies to get to so upset by having a mailman call them out for driving like idiots. I'm glad no one honked at them for not going on green; they may have shot them or had a nervous breakdown or something.
Then they wrecked their car leaving the scene because (per the mailman in one article I saw) the cop driver was turned around taunting the mailman and rear ended a car.

The bootlickers will arrive shortly to say that OP is a cop hater and the mailman was resisting and reaching for something in his pocket and should've been shot.

a. Not complying with what a cop is asking you to do is resisting arrest. if they ask you for an ID and you refuse to provide it, i see that as resisting arrest.
b. this is double standard bullshite if they really did nearly clip him and they got pissed off for him calling them out. I have had cops literally clip me with their mirror and give me shite when it broke while I was working alongside a road. However, now if you don't get over a clear lane while they have someone pulled over they can come get you for it. I usually stand up for cops but this guy yelling at them had no immediate threat to them so they should have left him alone. If the guy threw something at them it would be a different story.

So many stereotypes in that video. The arresting officer fits the mold of the a-hole with anger problems to a t. The videographer doesn't know that his phone can film in landscape mode. There is a gentleman in the background yelling "law suit, law suit" over and over again.
I'd venture to guess that 90% of cop videos have those components.

If the mailman would've tried his best to knock the dumb one's teeth out he would think twice before he acted like a huge piece of shite the next time. It's ok though between the video and the wreck afterwards everybody knows that he's trash

Not always. If cops asks you if they can search house/car- according to you if you say no, that's resisting arrest.

Pretty clear that these cops - whatever their motivations - were being complete assholes, as opposed to law enforcement officers.

What this story illustrates is how right i have been since the Eric Garner case came out.
My argument was that Garner did two things wrong which resulted in his death.
1. He was extremely unhealthy because of his lifestyle, which isn't too deadly UNLESS...
2. He resisted arrest.
Garner would still be around today and possibly a little richer if he would have just shut the frick up and let the a-hole cops arrest him. This mailman did exactly what I advocate doing. Shut up and take these thugs to court.
