Let me be the first one in a while to post something good about Miles possibly staying. How do we know he really is leaving? What if all of this crap on the rant and in the public helps push him over the edge? I for one hope like hell he stays! Les Miles

If he stays be ready for those 7-4 and 8-3 seasons.

Why would you say that when all he has done is set records of 10 wins or more for three consecutive years.

I think Dinardo could have posted 10 wins in the last 3 years just like Miles with all of the talent we have had. Its the assistants not him that is doing the job.

With you on this ... just don't see if happening, that buyout was in the contract for a reason, that UM job opens once every 15 - 20 years - he is gone and a lot of us will miss him.

There's a school of thought that the best coach for LSU right now is Les Miles. I agree with that. However, I also agree that he has to go where his heart is, and his heart is quite obviously in Ann Arbor.
Every ending is a new beginning.

lord, please let this be false. It's time for les to geaux.

Have you seen the RB's that Miles has brought into LSU?
Everyone acts like there are no juniors, sophmores or freshmen playing for LSU under Miles. I don't recall Nick Saban recruiting Terrance Toliver.

Why. Look he's a good coach. But he's not a championship coach. His in game decisions are questionable. He recruits well and will put a good team on the field that wins. But he will get out-coached in big games. He sliped through many times this year but it finaly caught up with him. This teams just doesn't look like it plays with any aggression or intesity.

I guess you're assuming that DiNardo would've hired coaches like Pelini & Crowton?
DiNardo screwed the pooch on hiring coaches. Don't even try to compare him w/ Miles.

i don't think it was the big games he had a problem with for the most part... Arkansas shoulda been a win easily. I think he seems to have a hard time getting his teams to focus on the task while there are distractions everywhere.
Les is a good coach and maintained LSU as a perennial power. We should be happy he came here after Saban and not a complete failure. Go and take the UM job Les and good luck to you, but stay out of LSU's way.
Get behind all the guys that have been a part of the most productive 3 years in LSU history (in regards to Wins) and welcome in the new regime come Monday.
Stop being fricking ungrateful retards and get behind the team. LSU is bigger than any one coach.

(emphasis added)
Yeah- Any coach before Miles "could have" done it, sort of like I "could have" graduated LSU with a 4.0 GPA. But neither one of those happened!
"It's the assistants"...You have to be joking right. Who do you think assembled that group of assistants?.....
That's what a quality HC does!

A Head Coach IS as good as the COACHES around him! What is wrong with that statement? Wasn't he the one who SURROUNDED himself with the coaching talent? Some of you guys are really clueless about team sports!!!!Period
