I doubt the Saints take 5 days. They will probably let him go. He is the 3rd option and we have 2 young guys (Tabb and Manhertz) that the staff seems to like. Letting him go will save us about $1 million in cap room.

No doubt this was the plan with him all along. Stay for nothing, or good luck with Pace. Tabb and Manhertz are great candidates for the new segment that is sweeping the nation.... NOSHAU's BETTER KNOW A SAINT!

I'm really surprised we didn't take a meeting with Nick Vannett at tOSU's Pro Day.
No TE meetings yet at all.... small school guy heading our way... Bryce? Braunecker? Hemingway? Sandland?

The draft process is mostly smoke and mirrors. If you really like a prospect it is best not to tip your hand.

Knowing what other teams need and who they prefer can lead to situations like when we jumped GB for Brandin Cooks. We knew they wanted a WR and the average drop in grade after Cooks was considerable. They settled for Adams who even with AR and no healthy WR's a year ago flopped really hard.

In general the less everyone knows the more likely you will be able to secure your preferred target.

3 years, has 36 catches. Hooman has more TDs with the Saints in part of one season than Hill has in 3 years. Just missing a core special teamer, but those kind of guys are the ones you reload periodically. Liked him, but not a factor.

He was behind hill last year. When fleece gets hurt you think he can carry the load as starter?
