There are more rumors floating around Baton Rouge than you can keep up with.
The latest one I heard was, "Did you hear Nick Saban was looking for a house in Baton Rouge.?"
Boy what rumor will be next, that I will be the Head Coach.

That Phat Phil will retire after the SEC Championship game this weekend, and Peyton Manning will take over as Head Coach. 
OH, and Rickey Busell from ULL will be the next head coach of LSU.

I always love the "Coach____ was in town looking at houses" rumors. Because that's EXACTLY what the head coach at a big program would do while secretly visiting another school about a job, go look at houses with a Real Estate agent. I'm sure the number of bathrooms and what kind of tile is in the kitchen is right up there with his most important priorities. Makes perfect sense.

Saban never would have taken the Bama job if his "real" agent hadn't been able to get him the home with that delightful little kitchen nook in the guest's quarters.

To me, the best one are those that know someone in a doctor's office who swears that every coach's wife in the country is switching OB/GYNs in Ann Arbor, Tuscaloosa, BR, Auburn, College Station, Lincoln, etc.

I heard from numerous inside sources that Saban was wavering on taking the Bama job until he found out the living room had 3/4" hardwood floors. Whew. Thank goodness for quality homebuilders. Book it.
