Best comparison in NBA for Ben is the 8th or 9th guy on the bench...Mickey will have more of an impact.

Stunted what growth, Anthony Davis seemed to have no offensive game at Kentucky and now he looks to be extremely skilled offensively. Towns is on a different level once he left Kentucky. Cal wasnt going to develop shite in his 1 season there.

really they both have the same problem in that they need to develop as shooters. I think Mickey brings more to the table at this point, in that he has a game even without being a good shooter. He does other things better like, play defense, rebound , block shots, play tough, etc. Both have a lot of upside. Should they make it in the NBA their careers will be interesting to watch to say the least. Pulling for both of them to make it in the NBA. Hopefully Simmons can make the transition to the NBA though he may have to do some time in the development league as did Mickey.

I mean anything is possible and all, but I would say it is close to a lock that Ben Simmons doesn't spend a minute in the D-League.

I've seen quite a few comparisons of Simmons to Humphries lately and when you look close, it seems about right. At any rate, it makes a lot more sense than the ridiculous comparisons to LeBron James or any other of the NBA all time greats.

Ben Simmons had more assists in 33 college games as Kris Humpries has had the last 3 NBA seasons (174games).
