Why would Jack Del Rio even consider leaving the NFL?

Who is the astronaut?
Posted on 11/29/07 at 8:48 pm to siliconvalleytiger
Why wouldnt he? I mean, maybe he thinks a CFB coaching job would be better for him.

c'mon
But I think there is something to the quotes. Who in their right minds wants to work with or for Saban? I don't imagine any of the "I want Saban back" guys on here would be working anywhere near him.

An NFL coach in the middle of a succesful season bolts to college. Yeah, a lot of precedence there.
Posted on 11/29/07 at 8:50 pm to siliconvalleytiger
Because he is not perticularly wanted in Jax. He is working under the last year of his contract, how often do you ever see that happen.
Posted on 11/29/07 at 8:52 pm to siliconvalleytiger
Yes he is having a successful season right now. But he has never been well liked in Jax and has been critized a lot by national media. And when Saban left he wanted an interview even though he was in the middle of playoffs.

And that man in your post is who JDR will replace IF he ever coaches in College.

Hot Carl, I think you're right. I have 3 degrees of separation to an ex-LSU assistant under Saban (Saban's first year), you think Saban yells at _the players_ .
