Saban to LSU

Hi guys,
I thought I would drop in, I have never posted here before but have heard about the place, and tell you what is going on.
I wasn't sure about making this post, but I saw some other posts kind of similar so I thought, why not.
Jimmy was in BR yesterday supposedly at the behest of Nick Saban, that is the word going around. When I say going around, I mean that some higher ups around here are kind of pissed off about it.
Sexton is catching some heat from some fairly powerful players within the 'Bama family, if you know what I mean.
It is disheartening, to say the least. I am not entirely sure why I am making this post, perhaps wanting some reassurance that LSU may not be interested in Saban and Sexton and Saban are just wasting their time.
Anyway, this seems to be pretty big and is not going away. It isn't idle gossip either, there are some problems developing right now among some of the movers and shakers over here.
You know, this really isn't right, why don't you guys get another coach. 'Bama needs some stability right now, we are scratching and clawing to keep from drowning for good.
I don't know why everyone always wants the worst for 'Bama, we are not that bad of a program, we are just trying to get by like everyone else.

Talk a walk. Turn off the computer and think about it. Saban is not coming back here. We are just making ourselves look silly down here

Dont think you have anything to worry about. Saban may have a huge ego, but even he has to realize that he could never overcome the fallout from this.
Not that he has much now, but he would have absolutely no credibility left if he left AL after 1 year. He could never recruit.

Well, if Saban does leave, maybe 'Bama could get Miles. He isn't the greatest coach on Earth, but he is better than lots of them.

Saban to LSU would be a hard coup to pull. The national media would cruicfy him and LSU. It would be detrimental to both programs. No matter how they structure the contract or try to spin it, it won't be pretty.
They will say he should have just stayed at Miami one more year, etc.
I think Bama is safe here. No matter how many or who wants Saban back, I can't see how LSU could successfully pull it off. Recruiting would suffer because of negative recruiting by the other SEC coaches. LSU might never get a fairly called football game again. LSU would be shafted with penalties forever in the SEC.
And to top it off, what if he comes back and in 2 years falls on his face? Do you fire him? Would anyone want the LSU job if that happened?
