Spieth up to 12. Needs to close really strong, though. You're right, 3 or 4 under will be solid, but won't jump a majority of the field today.

TV doesn't do them justice. Number 9 is damn near a certain 3-putt for the average golfer, because of a steep ridge. Several others have huge elevation changes you really don't see on TV.

The pin placement on 18 in the final round is a bitch as well in terms of putting.

I read that that's REALLY the case with Augusta. Said you wouldn't believe the bumps and hills and stuff on the fairways and greens in person. Apparently it doesn't translate well on TV.

My boy Danny Lee!

Justin Thomas just drilled a spectator after shanking an attempt with driver off the deck. Then he chipped in for birdie.

4th Round Plays ~

Moore -140 ov Hoffman
Haas -120 ov DeLaet

One of the available matchups was Spieth -340 ov McCoy... I can't lay that kind of juice but that amateur is going to fall apart playing with Jordan a day after the round he had yesterday...

Never know. Spieth seems like a guy who would talk to a young playing partner and help them become comfortable.

It's actually in all likelihood a comfortable pairing for McCoy. People forget Spieth is only 22. Him and McCoy have probably known each other and played together before

We'll see. I suspect he plays a poor round.

CHIII will get it done today.

Listening to the amatuer's coach on TGC now - the kid is streaky according to the coach - can catch fire anytime.

BTW TGC, get a better pic of the amateur kid.

Update:
I am getting old back...back in the day if you were an A on tour your prize money was distributed in the overall layout pool. If I just understood TGC correctly, the kid gets to direct the proceeds towards a charity.

Spieth is struggling so far. He looks very tentative and tight. Wayyy out of his comfort zone.

Good luck. Hoping for the same, or a few loose shots from Spieth and Grace!

Willett matches Spieth's mistake by slapping one into the water on 16. These pros making a lot of amateur errors.
