I'm a fairly new BPL fan. This is the first year I've watched every weekend.

Is there any precident for what they are doing this year? I've read the 5k - 1 odds article posted on here previously, but was just wondering if any other team in BPL history ever had a similar run?

Does the team build on their success next year with new money or sell their top players to cash out or build more depth.

Are they a one and done or can they consistently be top 8ish?

ManU trying to get them blocked from the CL so next year may be their 1 and only shot at European glory

I've wondered this as well... More from the standpoint of how much of a financial/recruiting windfall will come from them potentially winning the league. Could this set them up to be a club on the European fringe consistently? Provided them are smart with their money.

Check out this awesome screenshot I just found in my Imgur account. I remember posting as banter to the posters of bigger clubs who struggled in week 1.

They'll get 2 or 3 quality players added to the team and maybe a few more to add depth to their squad, but Europe will wear them down. They'll probably finish bottom half of the table. Seen it before.

Think they'll be pretty well positioned to strengthen their squad after they sell Robert Huth to Real Madrid for $200 million

It's an interesting case because most of the financial horror stories are from teams that had to spend big to get there then continue to win to service their debt. Leicester hasn't spent shite

swansea never won the league (or even made europe iirc) but i can't see how leicester will do any better than swansea after their emergence. they don't really spend a ton, made some great buys, sold a ton of guys for profit, and are meddling

Vardy gets arrested in the offseason for finally banging someone who chatted shite. Spends next 10 years in jail.
