I just get this feeling Mile's agent already has Les SS&D to Michigan. This is why Michigan and Miles appear to be going through the motions on the coaching search front.

I think it's the same situation here that you had with Nutt and Ole Miss. The fact that Nutt went to Ole Miss so quickly after the LSU-Arkansas game makes it apparent Nutt's agent had already worked the deal out prior to the LSU game. I think once the SEC CG is over the same thing will happen with MIles.

It further seems as though we have a replacement ready to go, the fans just don't know it yet. Possibly Spurrier, but I hope not.

Wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened. Same issue with Coach Fran at Bama bolting for aTm. Hopefully if Miles does bolt he will do so with class that Fran lacked when he left Bama.

Retarded!

Michigan is much more formal and "uppedy". They would never go out on a limb like that early in the season.

1- If Carr knew a deal was done he would have discouraged Ferentz from interviewing. He knows Ferentz will have to answer questions in Iowa.

2- Every day this drags on it hurts Michigan a little (It hurts LSU more). They would have demanded he give it up after the Arkansas game and start recruiting. Les would want to do the same if he were already the Michigan coach. What does it benefit Miles or Michigan to wait until after the SECCG? Think about it.

Michigan is also looking at Tedford out of Cal pretty hard. He has done a fantastic job with that program.

I see Miles as a strong lean to Michigan but definitely not a done deal

Agreed. It may be a done deal for Les but Michigan will play out all their options until the end. If that were not so, it would be over now.
