Well it certainly isn't a new thing. I've seen several old women with snuff in their lip. There's still a few back woods younger ladies that do it around Oakdale.

I dated a very hot girl from a very affluent family from Columbus, Ohio back in the early 90s. She dipped Skoal Wintegreen every now and then. I dipped back then so I was conflicted about how I felt about it. She only did it around me and not in public. On one hand I thought it was cool that a hot arse intelligent girl was going completely rogue in regards to stereotypes. On the other I felt uncomfortable that my GF felt okay putting a dip in around me.

My elementary school janitor used to dip (probably still does).. I went to school in Mississippi though so it was nothing out of the ordinary

Are you kidding? My great-grandmother dipped Garrett snuff. She kept a silver can in her dress pocket at all times. (She was born about 1900.)
