Isn't Michigan's coordinators under guaranteed contract? I doubt Lloyd would let his guys get screwed. And, I'll be really pissed if he screws us out of Tenuta.

So what? So they have to pay them, regardless of whether the new HC retains them or not?
Tenuta is probably going to interview for some HC jobs, maybe even at GT.

But UM doesn't appear to be the type of school that would pay for no effort. You would think Lloyd is standing up for his guys and UM makes it clear to the new candidate that the coaching staff stays for one year, ala Les and Jimbo.

If he wants to stay, almost certainly English will be retained by the incoming coach for continuity. He's a well-regarded DC. He may be the HC at Cal in a few years.

Was this really announced on Songy's show? Did he really say Saban was on board? Some of us are from out of town and at work and cannot listen to the show.
