Do people that work atypical schedules not have the "Monday" effect?

Or does another day become virtual Monday (and hence sucks arse)?

What about people that have constantly changing work day/week schedules?

I haven't started working yet today.

Pretty sure I'll get going in about 20 minutes

The only time I have the Monday effect is when I have to work Monday day
I go in tonight and it doesn't bother me one bit. The week when I only work Wed/Thur i don't have any issue either.

Garfield does nothing but eat and sleep, and he hates Mondays.

My schedule is different every single week. I work 3 shifts a week(but don't work them back to back right now). I never work more than 2 shifts in a row. So no, I never have that "ugh it's Monday" feeling.

I get the Monday effect.

Really, it's just not being warmed up to the work schedule.

By Tuesday or Wednesday, it's firing on all cylinders.

I typically have Mondays off. Today, however, I'm working 24 hours straight. I also work a lot of weekends. So no, Mondays aren't any worse than any other day of the week for me.

We got back from Vegas yesterday. I slept from approx. 8PM last night til 830AM this morning.

I think I have to do a little work around 12:30 to meet the minimum requirements I have today, like picking up my dog from boarding.

It really kicks my arse tbh. Doesn't matter if I'm doing crazy shite on the weekends or taking it easy; go to sleep extra early Sunday evening or stay up later. Doesn't matter if I have crazy shite to do on Monday or a relatively calm day. Almost 100% of the time I get home and am wiped out, just want to sit on the sofa and chill.

Yes

I used to mostly work them 3 in a row to get them over with and have a longer stretch of days off(usually 4-8days depending). But I found myself just exhausted and useless the entire first day off I had. With school, it also makes it more difficult to keep up with all the crap I have to do. So now I'll work a shift, be off a couple days, work 2 shifts, off a couple days, repeat.
