I saw him in the dugout the other night and I also heard a little rumor he was throwing a little bit, not sure the validity of that though.

The sad thing is, he should have had this surgery over a year ago like LSU wanted. His family thought time and rest would heal his arm. While last year it was a wait and see how or if he healed, now there is a real timetable for him.
They are looking for him to be a reliever only this season hopefully in early May.

That's a fact per CPM. he said Latz would start throwing "next week" (and that was about two weeks ago). He also said they hoped to have him back by late April.
