LSU baseball game BLACKED out on ESPN3 in Louisiana

If you are in Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mobile or the area in Texas from Beaumont to Houston it will be blocked out.

Looks like they blacked out Macon in Georgia, but not Atlanta

What's the point of this? We can't all be expected to drive to Beaumont

Here in B R it is listed at being on CST - COX 37 at 6pm.

Because CST has the game. And they aren't going to let ESPN3 broadcast the game in areas they provide CST.

They don't provide CST down here in the Gulf Shores area. Why is it blocked out over here?

If you are in Louisiana
If you have Cox Cable in Baton Rouge, the game will be carried live on channel 37.

CST is broadcast via affiliate in Pensacola which is part of the Mobile TV market so that's why.

I may be mistaken, but I think that's the point of the thread. You can't if you live in the area.

ETA: I'm under the assumption ESPN3 & watch ESPN are the same thing

I just downloaded the free version of Hotspot Shield so I will be watching it in Houston. I'll have to watch on the laptop and can't use the Roku - but I can watch the LSU softball game on the Roku - so it's cool.
