OK, next year is basically a re-building year, right? I mean, Perrilloux will be learning how to be THE guy, or else he'll finally get himself thrown off the team, then either Lee or a true freshman will be learning the ropes. The defensive backfield and the linebackers will be largely new and unproven. Plus, we have the even-year hard schedule. I think that most Tiger fans are resigned to losing maybe 3 games next year.

Here's my dream. We sign Mike Shula to a one-year contract and let him be a lame duck figure-head. We keep Crowton and steal Muschamp.

Why? ...just to see the meltdown that would occur when Saban leads bama into Tiger Stadium and gets beat by Mike Shula. Next year, bama will still be on very wobbly legs, and there's no way they could beat us in Tiger Stadium, even if Charlie Weiss was our head coach. The rednecks would finally SNAP, all the way, and Saban would have to run for his life. It would just be funny to see. Blood from self-inflicted wounds, flowing down the streets in Tuscaloosa.

"Oh, Lordy. Mike Shula beat us with Les Miles' players."

We got nothing to lose, and bama would be reduced to Tulane status for at least the next 100 years.

all kidding aside he would have had at least the same year that Saban had at Bama this year he may would have even beaten ULM!

He did a damn good job during his tenure except beating Auburn

It is going to be rough for Saban next year anyway if he stays at Alabama. He may want to consider going elsewhere. What are the chances of Bama beating LSU, AU, and Miss State. Three teams that bama boosters require you to beat in order to retain your job. Now that Ole miss has Nutt. They may be able to beat bama. So there are 4 losses right there.

Hey Weirdo, in case you live under a rock, Alabama has a fantastic record of beating us on our home turf. We stand a better chance of beating them in Tuscalooser.
