Maybe if the problem wasn't horribly written in an intentionally ambiguous way, then there wouldn't be any confusion.

I think the answer is 9. Multiplication has precedence over addition & subtraction so:
3 + 3 - (3 x 0) + 3 = 9
3 + 3 - (3 x 0) + 3 = 9

My co-worker's daughter is a total frick-up, and has recently taken to FB asking for a place to live for her family, including a hubby that was laid off. She bitches about not having any money and the awful situation she is in.

When you went into 6th grade and got to use the calculator. People have been taught to read from right to left a lot more than the order of operations
