Damn!!! Many of my favorites already mentioned. And not really the big hits either:
Thin Lizzy -- Cowboy Song
Molly Hatchet -- Flirting With Disaster (Okay, their biggest hit)
Black Sabbath -- Neon Knights
Smashing Pumpkins -- Bury Me
Iron Maiden -- Revelations
Kudos to you folks.
Here are a few I'll add:
Chevelle -- The Clincher and Face To The Floor
Deftones -- Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away)
Helmet -- Give It and (High) Visibility (Two of MANY Helmet songs)
Motorhead -- In The Year Of The Wolf
White Zombie -- Welcome To Planet Motherfricker/Psychoholic Slag
Riot -- Outlaw
Exodus -- War Is My Shepherd

Great song. Great band hardly anyone knows about if you weren't around at that time. You could list every song from Fire Down Under in this thread and it would fit perfectly. One of my favorite hard rock albums ever.

Hell YES!!! Spot on. Often times an album that was great back then doesn't really stand the test of time. This one absolutely does.

Vitamin R for me. Supposedly about Ritalin.
Great song
Yeah man. Chevelle is one of the rare groups that I really like that actually gets a lot of radio play. Awesome sound IMO. They're on record as stating that they are heavily influenced by Helmet, and you can definitely hear that. Also Tool, which really comes through in Pete's vocal.
Damn good group.
