I am just a wife & mother .. no football expert at all ... BUT SS looks worn out to me ... he just doesn't seem to have the fire in his eyes ... I guess age mellows you but that makes me afraid ...

No way. His time has come and gone. Not to mention, how would he answer question at his introduction about becoming coach for the fans who told him "F you" earlier this year? Finally, who wants a hated enemy as our coach?

What kind of buy out would he have from SC?
Do you think he is still pissed about the recruit/school admin not accepting him even while NCAA qualified.

SS is a smartass and he is cocky, but I've never heard anything about him that would suggest that he has bad character. I couldn't say the same about Tommy Tuberville.
SS just likes to needle people and teams. His one liners usually crack me up.
To the other poster that said SS lost his fire; I don't think that is the case. I just think that he has lacked a team that he could get fired up about. South Carolina just doesn't produce enough athletes to be competitive in the SEC. South Carolina would be fine if it were competing in the Big 10 or PAC 10.

But to answer your question I will not love it but I will get behind it. I will not be one that carries on for three years against a Coach that was not my first choice and start mutliple daily threads griping if it happens.
