It would be pathetic for a coach to have a #1 overall pick wing on a team in college and not make the tournament.

But next season could actually be a better team; it really all depends on whether Elbert Robinson develops enough to stay on the court. If he does and Victor returns, that will cause a lot of problems. Victor will command a lot of attention down low, but you can't just ignore a legit 7 footer, either, so if it's a patient offense (would have to be with Elbert on the floor), you have the potential for a solid frontcourt.

Combined with a more mature Patterson at the point, hopefully a more consistent Blakeney at off-guard, and either Epps or Sampson on the wing making jumpers, and (again) you have a tournament-capable team.

I don't see Elbert ever being mean, physical & athletic enough to give you much more than 5 minutes a game. Victor will have it much tougher next season without Ben unless he gets lots of freshman or JC help. Elbert will never be the answer.

Epps & Patterson have been around long enough to where they both should be making more of a difference, but they're not.

Blakeney will have to be a lot better than he was this season, bot obviously there's no guarantee that he will.

Next season doesn't look promising at all. I hope I'm wrong.

that said quarterman is good enough to run a team, he's just not right a

No he isnt. He is only good when he is scoring. He doesn't do the little things anymore that made him a good player.

Moscona said yesterday that he was pretty certain Q would not be back. I think it's time for Q to move on too. He acts disinterested a lot and his game has fallen off.

This team has a great pro player on it but he is not very useful in the college game in a lot of ways.

HOLY shite. Do you try to be wrong?

Simmons is a better college player than both Mickey and Martin.
He scores more than both.
He assists far more than both.
He rebounds far more than both
He steals far more than both.

Simmons is top 4 in the sec in steals, ppg, rebounds, and assists and you think he isnt as useful?
